Description
Formed, not painted. This piece is built layer by layer, inspired by the way natural surfaces erode, fracture, and reveal what lies beneath. The deep black texture absorbs light, creating a sense of depth and silence, while fragmented gold emerges along the edges — like mineral veins exposed under pressure. Every surface is intentionally imperfect. Nothing is symmetrical. Nothing is repeated. The structure mimics natural geological movement, where time shapes matter into something raw and powerful. As light moves across the surface, the piece shifts. Highlights appear and disappear. Shadows deepen. It is not a static artwork it reacts, it lives with the space. This is not decoration. It is a material statement.
