Description
This relief assembles hundreds of pumice fragments with distinctive porous surfaces and irregular edges. The stones vary from thumbnail-sized chunks down to small granular pieces, creating dense clusters that shift into sparse distributions across the frame. The color graduates from deep ocean teal in the lower regions to pale seafoam white at the upper edges. Light catches differently in each stone's surface holes and cavities, creating micro-shadows that shift as viewing angles change.
